Santa Fe PRIDE 2018 is upon us and this year there are a variety of fun events planned! See below for the full list. Mark your calendars and get ready to celebrate!
June 23 – Rainbow Family Pride 2018 Festival
“This year, the Envision Fund is presenting a family-friendly event in addition to the traditional adult-oriented Pride on the Plaza. We “envision” a more inclusive event with children, teens, young adults, rainbow families, and any and all folks who want a way to connect and celebrate their LGBTQ+ community!”
June 23 – Gay Pride Train Ride
“The Gay Train Ride to Lamy is back as part of Santa Fe Pride 2018! Train ride, drinks, catered meal and dance party afterward at Casa Espana!”
June 23 – Pride Dance Party with DJ Oona
“DJ Oona will be spinning your favorite dance anthems from the 70’s to today. Come and relive your coming out days, or just come to dance your booty off!”
June 28 – Fabulous Thursdays – Pride Month
“Ideal Home, starring Paul Rudd and Steve Coogan. The Center for Contemporary Arts latest series celebrates the explosively creative LGBT cinema movement!”
June 29 – Closetball 2018
“The Closetball is a fun competition for non-professional drag queens in an evening of “transfortainment. The evening begins with each man presenting himself to the audience in their normal role and then within an hour, magically transforming into a beautiful (we hope) female persona, complete with a performance!”
June 29 – Santa Fe Pride Celebration Night
“A night of dance, hits and EDM! DJ Sabataj will be bringing you classics and current remixes of the best hits.”
*** June 30 – Pride on the Plaza: Santa Fe Pride Parade 2018 ***
“Parade starts at 11:00am (line-up) from the PERA Building, proceeds down Old Santa Fe Trail towards the Plaza, crosses over East Alameda past Loretto Chapel and La Fonda and left on San Francisco into the Plaza.”
June 30 – Pride After Party
“Continue the celebration with dancing and music by DJ Oona!”
July 1 – Pride Pool Party
“What better way to wrap-up 2018 Santa Fe Pride than at a pool party? Come celebrate and relax poolside with us and many friends!”
